A very well centered didrachm or nomos from Kroton

BRUTTIUM. Kroton. Circa 425-350 BC. Didrachm or Nomos (Silver, 22 mm, 7.55 g, 11 h). Eagle, wings closed, standing right on Ionic capital; to right, olive branch. Rev. ϘPO Tripod with three handles, ornamental volutes below the bowl and legs ending in lion's paws, adorned with fillet hanging down on the left. HN Italy 2144. SNG ANS 339. A lovely and very well centered piece. Minor weakness on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.
